Avenida Paulista

Avenida Paulista is a long, 8-lane street and a great walk that passes through multiple neighborhoods. While it boasts the city's major financial institutions, there's plenty of shopping, movie theaters, bookstores, bars and restaurants to check out, too. The strip contains the Museum of Arte of São Paulo (MASP), as well as Feira do Bixiga, a Sunday flea market. But don't expect any signs to help you out as you stroll. You just have to sense where everything is.
